BLOOD
BANDINFO:
Notorious noisemongers BLOOD, hailing from the beautiful German
village Speyer near the river Rhine, were founded in March 1986
by stringmolesters Eisen & Geier, bassist Taki and Radkte as
a fun noiseproject to create unimaginably brutal sounds of music.
Already back in their early days this bonebreakerbrigade went to
work with astonishing enthusiasm, recording six demos in a fresh
care-free manner. 1987 clubwielder and skindesecrator Ventilator
joined BLOOD. Along with his drummingskills he brought more compositional
ideas so the songs got to be more structured and the music became
more serious. Word about BLOOD´s uncompromising thrashing
art got spread even to America - early 1989 BLOOD signed their
first deal with US indie label Wild Rags. The debut album of the
same year was entitled „Impulse To Destroy“. Over the
years the destructive bloodsound developed into a unique mixture
of DEATHMETAL and GRINDCORE. The bandname became well-known in the
business, BLOOD´s brutal sound still raises the heartbeat
frequency of every true Death Metal maniac and makes his blood boil.
Of course the latest offering „Dysangelium” is no exception
to the rule. It´s really amazing how enthusiastic the “bloody”
present their massacre, especially Eisen is riffing his ass off
like crazy. Clausi showcases his talents as an inhumane and abnormal
sounding bestial growler on „Dysangelium”. Their seventh
release can be judged as the most convincing album in terms of composition
- „Dysangelium“ is endlessly brute and mangy Grind Death
Metal. The four-piece plays like it´s a question of life or
death. Clausi, Eisen, Taki and Ventilator are a very consistent
role model for a band with a strong belief in their art -
with over a hundred live gigs with acts like DISMEMBER, ATROCITY,
GOREFEST, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, HOLY MOSES, FEAR OF GOD, MESSIAH,
VADER, AGATHOCLES, SAMAEL under their belts.
