BANDINFO:
We are used to hearing extraordinary sounds from those excentric Grindrockers C.S.S.O., which stands the bizarre neologism "Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ" by the way. These nonconformist Japanese, who simply defy any attempt of evaluation, have always been good for a surprise. Their debut, entitled "Nagrö Läuxes VIII", was released on Morbid Rec´s in 1995 and managed to gain the band a strongly developed insiderstatus and reputation within the genre due to their weird uniqueness. C.S.S.O. play psychotic and deranged Grindrock, which sometimes seems to overpower the listener with its chaotic diversity… After a break, which may have been too long for some, here come´s the equally undescribable successor with the provoking working title or rather a question asking for immediate answering: "Are You Excrements ?". The Japanese institution in terms of international and musical/creative boundlessness does not leave the listener clueless with their strange yet terrifyingly interesting songs. As if they´d already know the answer… There´s only a few releases in this genre, which offer such a mixture of musical egotrips like this one ! But still the spacy message from Japan still manages to convince with its sheer diversity in each and every second of "Are You Excrements ?" Without any consideration of traditional harmony C.S.S.O. present uncommon musical structures with a courage that will earn them the due respect. Fortunately they never waste a thought on being the next big thing in musicbusiness. In this day and age that status can only be reached by musical insignificance anyway…
