BANDINFO:
Finally the second acoustic atrocity of the Gore-Grind-pioneers
and legendary creators of Splatter-Horror-Metal , IMPETIGO, is available
on CD and picture EP!
With its horrible-beautiful artwork this titbit comes up with four
monstrous-sounding killersongs and inspires effectively. Again the
unique use of fearsome and sinister original samples taken from
various Horror-B-movies, undisputed trademark of the brutal-rumbling
butchers, gives highest attraction to the album. The songs on "Faceless"
are not faceless at all, but varied and impressive with morbid instruments
and likewise perverted, inhuman vocals.
IMPETIGO´s way of performance is really unique. For all the
real fans of the psychopath´s from Illinois/USA, the endless
waiting period will have an end with this delicious release. But
also for newcomers "Faceless" is a worthwile piece of
music: the really unique sound of IMPETIGO is a different and refreshing
variation of this crass kind of music. If you hear the CD, you would
nerver believe, that the recordings were already done in 1991. IMPETIGO
shaped this sound much earlier than other bands and finally created
a timeless and electrifiing soundtrack of horror, shocking and threatening
to end in state of anxiety... One more fact, that speaks well for
the american veterans and saves 'em a lot of sympathy.
