BANDINFO:
East German Thrash veterans and pioneers Moshquito have been around for incredible 15 years by now.

During all these years the band has never given up on the ideals of their musical style, which at first was the sole mainspring in their survival tactics. Of course the band was later also kept alive by its enormous popularity and broad acceptance in the underground. Moshquito have bravely fought countless live-battles, right at the frontline. This is proof enough for the undying metalspirit of these reliable and passionate Thrash enthusiasts. Especially worth mentioning is the fact, that the band gained their cult status during the historic times of the iron curtain. Of course they were a thorn in the Communist regime´s side and consequently got banned from playing live. That in return only strengthened the loyalty of the fans. After three outstanding demos, which immediately found a ready market between 1987 and 1990, the band took a time out from releasing material and rather worked on its liveperformance. It was only in 1998 when Moshquito released their debutalbum "Secrets" through Noiseworks, an album which caused standing ovations from the old faithful supporters. Not one single old fan had forgotten about them ! A little later Moshquito´s fate took a final positive change: Morbid Rec´s declared its solidarity with those well-tried thrashers. Soon the the follow-up "World´s End" will be out, including all the band´s trademarks: smashing-uncompromising break-neck Thrash Metal, speedy riff thunderstorms and hyper speed double bass attacks. These smart guys with the funny band name don´t have bloodsucking stings on their heads, but they will sting you with their convincing songmaterial, sticking out from the mass of comparable acts !
