HYPNOS

 The successor of the selftitled MCD consequently follows the direction which was already hinted on the debut. It offers the best and most thought out compositions heard in Death Metal for a long time. Hypnos prove to be true masters of their trade from the first song to the last. This absolutlely convincing outfit consists of three former KRABATHOR members Bruno (bs.&vox), Hire (git.) and Pegas (dr.) as well as Mika, the famous excentric frontman of IMPALED NAZARENE, the undisputed kings of perverse Black Metal. With "In Blood We Trust" HYPNOS have recorded an album in a class of its own that is hard to surpass in terms of diversity. The album combines the most important ingredients of this kind of music to a marvelous mixture: diamond hardness, technical chops and songwriting talents with a feel for good, diverse songs, which are in no way overloaded at the same time. Mika, who shares the mangy vocalduties with Bruno, lives up to the standard he delivers in his mainband and adds several highlights to "In Blood We Trust" with his vocal input. The experienced quartetts new release shines on numerous thrilling occasions, which incinerate a flash of elitist Death Metal. The perfect interplay of the instrumentalists is an undeniable advantage of HYPNOS, demonstrating, that even in this genre, it is possible to blast first class songs with accessibilty on highest level through the fans ears.
