ORTH
ORTH, founded in January`90, quickly managed to establish themselves as one of the top-acts of the German underground Death Metal scene. The band does not submit to new trends or overly commercial influences, instead they compose a unique style of music which is instantly recognizable.ORTH is an explosive mixture of rhythm, technique, groove, progressively bizarre riffs partly combined with wild grindcore, sometimes arranged in an unconventional manner and always performed without any compromise. The technical abilities of the musicians allow a tight group performance at an astonishing level. Together with Harris Johns the band produced the legendary "Leichenschmaus"-Single as well as the debut CD "Ano Kato". Both releases received raving reviews from the press, spreading the world about ORTH.
The lyrics are written in both English and German reflecting the band’s view on world of todaydefinitely . There is no room for Death Metal clichs, rather sometimes a humorous and sarcastic side shines through. It is definitely the bands goal to give their audience food for individual thought!

In September 1999 the band signed a deal with Morbid Records and subsequently recorded their second full-length CD entitled "Feed The Flames". This album will be released in Mai or June 2000 finally introducing the band to an international audience.
