Their coming-up new MCD will conquer vast new horizons for these infamous Berlin power trashers, POSTMORTEM, and open the way to new musical realms. Fitted with a new sound outfit, as if tailor-made for this band, reveals another pristine, dazzling facet of eastern German metal. "Storm Force" will comprise five songs: two brand-new killers that perfectly characterise this long-standing quartet’s compositional talent, two already known tracks with an entirely new sound, plus "Lethal Devil", a piece previously featured on the MORBID "Vol. One" compilation. The pieces you might have already heard are "Der Totmacher" from the MCD of the same name, as well as "Gutterballs" from the "Repulsion" album which has now been revamped into a striking industrial mix, in which not only the drums but also the bass were entirely newly recorded and mixed. Out came two really catchy tunes that you just can’t get enough of! Especially "Der Totmacher" goes straight into your legs and displays itself as an ingenious and danceable soul savour with an overwhelming atmospheric density. POSTMORTEM have made a wise decision with this unique and unconventional idea. The resulting product is an outstanding release whose innovative character will certainly leave its mark and catapult them a big step ahead, leaving you lusting for more and immensely arousing your curiosity to hear the follow-up longplayer which will be available soon.
